Each month the SHS features different artists. Come by to view this amazing work. A portion of all sales supports the work of the Steveston Historical Society. Alongside feature displays by John Beatty and Anne Primeau, there will also be postcards, art cards, and stickers available for purchase by Sarah Glen and Roxsane Tanner.

August Pop-Up Artists are John B. Beatty and Anne Primeau. Anne's oil paintings are featured: rooster, fawn, still lifes and landscapes. John B. Beatty stands next to his painting of the cannery and there is also a painting of the Olympic Oval featured.

“Painting is an endless learning process that I find very fulfilling. The creative process of translating my vision onto a two-dimensional surface in order to evoke a sense of place and time brings me joy”.
