Marsha Lynn Hoggan
Marsha Hoggan is a local Richmond, BC artist who began making pottery in 2005. Her functional work is mainly porcelain, which she fell in love with early on in her pottery endeavours. Celadon is a favourite glaze for Marsha’s porcelain pottery and has been used for thousands of years on both porcelain and stoneware pottery. Marsha says, “it appeals to me not only for the cool lightness of its look on porcelain, but for its historical value as well.” Marsha also works with clay as it has endless possibilities and has allowed her to experiment with Raku as well as sculpting.
