# Steveston Scarecrow Crawl

Scarecrows appear all over the village through October, and the Society builds one
every year.

This year ours is a historic mailman, and he will be standing outside the front 
door of the Steveston Museum and Post Office for the whole month. There is a reason
for the costume: mail has been handled on this spot since 1890, and the counter 
inside is still a working post office.

Walk the crawl, find the others, and come and say hello to ours. The Scarecrow Crawl
runs the length of October and is organised by the Steveston Merchants Association.
